Cheil OpenTide appoints Peter Shen as Chief Creative Officer

Cheil OpenTide, the digital marketing services company within the Cheil Worldwide group, has appointed Peter Shen as its new Chief Creative Officer. This is also one of the key hires for agency in China.

Having led Isobar China as its Chief Creative Officer since 2004, Mr Shen has been recognised as one of the few creative minds who have built up a career across multidiscipline channels. He is known for his creative perspective in addition to the award winning work he has done for Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Moet Hennessy, Nissan, Philips and Procter & Gamble.

“This is an exciting time for us, bringing such a top digital creative talent CCO like Peter on board to grow our company to the next level of digital marketing innovation, combining with our digital and mobile technology. Based on new IOT environment, it would be a validation of our position as the premier provider of a true localised and EFDM (end-to-end fully digitalised marketing) transformation services in China, after Peter joins us,” said Dr Brian Yongsik Nam, CEO of Cheil OpenTide.

Effective April 25, 2014, Mr Shen will be based in Beijing and assume his role as Chief Creative Officer for Cheil OpenTide Greater China, reporting to CEO Dr Nam.
