NEW YORK & LOS ANGELES – GroupM Entertainment and SpinMedia announced a strategic partnership to launch a premium original video series and content franchise entitled Stylist On Set, hosted by celebrity stylist Johnny Wujek.

The agreement is jointly announced by GroupM Entertainment Global Chief Executive Officer Peter Tortorici and SpinMedia Chief Executive Officer Dale Strang. GroupM Entertainment is a unit of GroupM Worldwide, the world’s largest media investment company; SpinMedia is the world’s leading digital-first media company featuring 46 pop culture and music digital brands.
Stylist On Set will offer everyday people across the country the opportunity to have Wujek travel to their hometown to help solve their personal style dilemmas. Throughout each episode, fans will discover the best in themselves as Johnny counsels them on fashion and assists in building their self-confidence.
Currently, Wujek can be seen on “America’s Next Top Model” where he serves as creative director, stylist and judge and was recently named one of the “Top Stylists in Hollywood” by The Hollywood Reporter. His celebrity clients include Katy Perry, Kate Mara and Amber Heard, among others.
The series was conceived by SpinMedia’s in-house creative team in conjunction with GroupM Entertainment and Wujek himself. The series will target an 18-34 year old demographic and is set to premiere early next year across SpinMedia’s collection of sites, including Wujek’s personal site, JohnnyWujek.com, which launches this month on the SpinMedia platform.

The strategic partnership between SpinMedia and GroupM is unique in that it allows both companies to collaborate at the earliest stages of production to create best-in-class content programming for the viewer, and early-stage investment opportunities for advertising clients. Under the terms of the deal, GroupM Entertainment and SpinMedia will share executive producer credit and ownership of the series, including syndication rights.
