Vizeum ignites Spark in APAC

Vizeum has launched Spark@Vizeum in the Philippines– a search for the hottest start-ups in Asia Pacific building on the success of the Spark@Vizeum initiative in the UK. Spark@Vizeum will set a client brief and work with tech acceleration hubs in key markets across the region to search for the best new start-ups.

The successful start-ups will be tasked to work on live briefs with some of Vizeum’s top clients with the aim of solvingreal business challenges. The Spark@Vizeum initiative will launch in the Philippines in partnership with IdeaSpace, and will launch in Singapore and Australia later in 2015.

The Spark@Vizeum programme is the evolution of Vizeum’s belief that technology is not only changing everyday behaviour, but should be woven into our thinking when tackling business problems.

“Understanding the impact of technology on the communications industry, its disruptive potential and more importantly how it can be used to help our clients gain competitive advantage should be driven as a standard practice. Launching an initiative like Spark@Vizeum is a step towards integrating great technology and innovationin our day to day interaction with our clients. It puts Vizeum at the forefront in driving new technology in the market and in direct contact with some great new talent in the start-up community,” said Kristian Barnes, Chief Executive Officer of Vizeum – Asia Pacific.
