PHD China names Paul Yan as GM of Performance

Continuing the momentum of expanding its client offering, PHD China has named Paul Yan as General Manager of Performance.

Mr Yan comes to PHD from Performics China, bringing a wealth of experience in performance media planning and operations for brands such as Wrigley & Mars, Mead Johnson, Diageo, iRobot, Bacardi, Mercedes-Benz, Chanel, Microsoft and Uber, to mention a few. In his new role, he is tasked with building measurable demand generation and user acquisition for clients, ensuring that existing channels exceed ROI while driving use of new and emerging channels. He will also boost the capabilities of PHD’s existing team by developing integrated, performance oriented media solutions and data driven marketing strategies.

“PHD sees performance as a multi-disciplinary area comprising eCommerce, programmatic, search and social – all underpinned by a strong data and analytics foundation. Paul has extensive experience within the performance field, in addition to also having significant client side B2B sales experience, with the practical approach to building solutions that B2B marketing provides.
