iPhone 5s Ranks as The Top Smartphone Seller at Major U.S. Carriers
Apple’s iPhone 5s has knocked the Samsung Galaxy S4 out of the top sales spot at the nation’s top four U.S. carriers.
The latest tracking data from Canaccord Genuity indicates that the iPhone 5s was the sales all-star for AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile last month.
Based on what it’s seen so far, Canaccord believes Apple will sell more than 52 million iPhones worldwide during the last quarter of the year.
As it turns out, CNET reports, the only device that came close to challenging the iPhone 5s in sales supremacy last month was another new Apple device – the iPhone 5c.
But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows in the realm of smartphone sales last month. The BlackBerry’s Z10 and Q10 handsets as well as the HTC One were largely sales duds compared to Apple’s and Samsung’s market leading smartphones.
