The Economist launches its daily digital edition
The Economist has launched its first daily edition, The Economist Espresso. The daily was developed to serve as a complement to the weekly edition of the publication. The daily is available on iOS and Android smartphone apps or as an e-mail.
John Micklethwait, Editor-in-Chief, The Economist, said, “This new daily briefing will expand our reach and utility as a smart guide to the forces that shape the future, as we analyse the political, economic, social, cultural and technological forces that are changing the world.”
The daily will be published each weekday morning in three editions for the Americas, Europe and Asia.
