Turkish Airlines looks to attract HK travellers by stimulating their senses

Turkish Airlines, the airline that flies to more countries than any other airline, launches a new creative campaign this spring, inspired by the five human senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. Starting with ‘sight,’ Turkish Airlines will handpick unusual senses travellers can explore in the 295 destinations serviced around the world, as well as during the journey itself.

The campaign aims at inspiring travellers to look for and discover beauty in the world from an unusual perspective, teasing their curiosity and sense of wonder with the joy of savouring different perspectives and sensations.

With 295 destinations, we are able to deliver passengers unique sensory experiences by means of travel,” said Seda Kalyoncu, Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications at Turkish Airlines. “We decided to launch this campaign in Hong Kong, Asia’s World City, because, like Istanbul, it’s a place where all five human senses thrive. The campaign will begin with the theme of ‘sight’, given Hong Kong passengers are today more keen to explore places less travelled, focusing on more interesting visual experiences. With our industry leading global network and convenient routes to Europe and Latin America, in particular, from Hong Kong, we look forward to challenging and inspiring Hong Kong passengers to keep on discovering the world with their curiosity and sense of wonder.”

The first destination series will focus on stimulating Hong Kong’s sense of sight, making people wander cities of nostalgia, see the light in the haze, and walk through lights and shadows, including cities such as Casablanca, Lisbon, Havana, Budapest, Athens and Buenos Aires.

The campaign series will be showcased across Hong Kong, with premier locations lined up in Central, the Airport Express and Hong Kong International Airport. All visuals will be in place to stimulate your ‘sight’ throughout the Lunar New Year.
