India’s BW ACCELERATE readies for 2nd batch of startups acceleration

ACCELERATE|ENTREPRENEUR, BW ACCELERATE’s acceleration program is gearing up for the second batch of 20 startups. BW ACCELERATE, an initiative of Digital Market Asia’s parent brand BW Businessworld, is focussed on identifying and grooming young startups in India. As the first city of operations, this multi-city acceleration program comprises startups based in Delhi-NCR. This batch was selected from over 450 applications from the region.

“This is the time of startups. India of 2015 is among the world’s largest startup economies, today it is only apt to help propel these startups to new heights. My focus is to make available all relevant resources and infrastructural needs for start-ups within the vicinity of operations to deliver cutting edge solutions and build large businesses. Our effort is to make India the hub for startups and enable founders to create world-class products and build substantial value for themselves and stake holders at large,” commented Ashu Agrawal, Director, BW ACCELERATE.

ACCELERATE|ENTREPRENEUR is an incisive three-month/14 weeks program with a focus on knowledge, intelligence and market access. With a mentor network of over 300+ seasoned founders, CEOs and CXOs from the industry, this program enables specific and tailored interactions with successful entrepreneurs through focused mentoring sessions, and enables market access for these startups.

The 20 startups selected for the second batch include Actozen, Brevity, Cityfurnish, CollegeMedia, Connectofy, DIKY, Goounj, MindScroll, NutritiousNation, Pelvinic, Realbox, Reweyou, Rydzz, SponsifyMe, The Salad Bowl, Unlockar, What’s Up Life, Woop, YuMiGo and YumTumy
